ENCHANT AT CALPROG 2004

Enchant's Ted and Ed

Enchant's Ted Leonard (left) and Ed Platt
(yes, they had the blurries, too*)

Enchant's Doug Ott
Doug Ott had the blurries bad,
but he played the guitar good.
Except for the time, in the middle
of the set, where he pulled the plug
on his own guitar, literally; came right outta
the amp (prolly why Ed went wireless)

Ott again
Doug again, the guitar has recovered a bit from
the blurries... but Doug, tries to shake it
(shake it, baby, shake it)

Ted and Ed
(ahem) Ted heard me scream that out (while Ed looks away
embarrased) and is now pointing me out to the crowd, saying
"that was Stephanie Sollow, everyone, from Progressiveworld.net.
Sorry, dear, we're not the Backstreet Boys."
No, that didn't happen; he is pointing out at the crowd though
and was bemoaning the rule against alchohol at the venue... not
right at that moment, but during the set.
(on second thought, maybe he's leaning on the mic stand...)

Doug
Anyway, here's Doug again, playing an empassioned lead.
Trust me, he looked empassioned in real life.

Bill Jenkins
And here's Bill, playing the keysboards (which were mixed great
from my perspective)

Ted
Ted straps on a blue Strat. I have to say, I really dig
that blue Strat., which he used at NF 2002, too.
Cool color...and one three cool Fender guitars seen that day
(see Paul Bremer with Izz and Mike Keneally with ... Mike Keneally Band)

Ted again
Oooer! It's Teddy again!
Never mind Ted, it's the blue Strat!

Ed Platt
From Ted to Ed... cool bass, poorly shot, very well played.

Ed
More Ed...

Enchant group shot
Look, it's N*Sync!

No, no, that's Enchant in sync, playing a tight set

Ted
Ted (aw, no guitar this time... and still no beer)

Ted and the heads
Doug, Ted, Sean, Ed, Bill and heads...
and something bursting up from the crowd.
("Argh! Metal rules!" "No, dear, we're not Metallica.
Right region, wrong band."

Doug
Doug switches to a white Fender...

Doug
... and recovers from the fuzzies...

Doug
...only to have a slight relapse.

Doug
And this one's for my sister** who wasn't with me this
time: Sean Flanagan. "The band's okay... the drummer's cute."
Yes, the subsequently married (not to my sister, though) Sean
"enchanted" my sister (from afar, Mrs. Flanagan; no worries) ...
at least for the NF 2002 weekend.
Sorry, he had a case of the blurries bad.

*this tale starts with Norlander, then goes to Izz
