IZZ AT CALPROG 2004 | |
 This is Paul Bremer, of Izz, he too has a case of the blurries* This was the second time in two years that I'd seen Izz Still not disappointed.  This is John Galgano... good-looking chap even with the blurs.  Here is all of Izz; I make note not because it isn't obvious but because you'll notice that most of my piccies are of John Galgano and Paul Bremer ... didn't want you to think Izz were a duo  Brems again John again  Brems...  Oooer! Both of them together!  This is Tom Galgano's wife, Anmarie Byrnes, she was singing - wonderfully - on a few tracks. She was also joined by Laura Meade (I believe it was she) later. No piccies of Laura (too many heads in the way) but she sang wonderfully as well. Both are on the new album Ampersand**  That's Tom on the left; he and Anmarie will be parents soon, John announced... Tom smiled, I believe, but had been otherwise focused on his keyboards at the time... as he is here, too  That's Brian Coralian at the extreme left on electronic drums and, of course, Tom and John  Izz is... or is Izz...depending on what your meaning of "is" izz  Well, there's Brian, seen a little closer Ah, the magic of zoom...  Brems and John again  Tom and John playing the same keyboard;  John plays guitar, too. He also helped on percussion at one point, using one of Greg DiMicell's cymbals. Greg is the other drummer in Izz' two drummer line up  Another group shot. For the encore, the band played Genesis' "In The Cage" (from Lamb, for those who don't know) with the "As Sure As Eggs Is Eggs" bit of "Supper's Ready," (Foxtrot) with AnMarie and Laura singing lead... *this fuzzy problem started with the Norlander set, which is where you should start in view these piccies **I may have got the names reversed (oops), but the piccy is of Tom's wife... © 2004  © Copyright 1999, 2004 Progressiveworld.netPhotographs © Stephanie Sollow | |
