ERIK NORLANDER AT CALPROG 2004

Erik Norlander's custom built synth rack - the Tower Of Doom
While we were waiting for Erik Norlander to take the stage, I took
a picture of Norlander's set up, focusing on his custom
built synth we learned was called "The Wall Of Doom."

Erik Norlander at the keys/synths
Erik Norlander as seen from row K, seat 109...
not a great shot, but Norlander is an enthusiastic keyboardist
so the fact that this is not just a blur... well, is because the keyboards
weren't moving. :-)

Norlander again
See, here is just a blur

Norlander again again
And less than a blur

And yet again
A blur as seen from the side...

Norlander's guest
This is Mike Alvarez ... yes, he's blurry, too. Anyway, if you were
at CalProg and stopped by the Norlander/Lane/Rocket Scientists booth
at about 11:30 a.m., you saw Mike watching the booth, "claiming" he was just fan. Apparantly, not just a fan, but a fan playing the electric cello with Norlander. Mike's a sly one; he and I chatted and he never mentioned it.

Kelly Keeling
Another guest, Kelly Keeling, sang
on a couple of songs - great voice.
(Can I tell you a secret? He spilled his drink in the lobby later.
Not sure what happened to cause it, but there it was... oops!

Norlander
Quick! Is he still a blur of motion? Yes, 'fraid so.
Oh, did I tell you these are in chronological order?
So while this shot looks like the others, it's later in the set...
... and I haven't gotten any better at capturing Norlander

Lana Lane
And yes, the fantastically voiced Lana Lane was there
singing fantastically, her blurriness not affecting her voice at all ;-)

(I spoke to her briefly at her/Erik's booth later --
okay, all I said was, "I'll take these three," and handed her some money --
and can attest that she is not blurry when in focus. Erik was there, too, clear as day.)
