Festival Music writes: "We just wanted to let you know some great news about two new signings to our label. Festival Music is the label of F2 Music Ltd, which also consists of www.progrock.co.uk, our online Prog shop selling all of our releases as well as hundreds of other great prog titles from around the world.

"Tinyfish: We are very pleased to officially announce the signing of a worldwide deal with Tinyfish, one of the most exciting Prog bands in the UK at the moment, for the release of their second album entitled The Big Red Spark. Tinyfish are already tipped as 'one to watch' by Classic Rock Magazine, with their debut CD appearing in their Top 20 albums of 2007, alongside some VERY big names, and we are honoured to be working with such a talented band.

"Simon Godfrey, lead singer and guitarist with the band had this to say about the new signing: 'We are very pleased to announce that Tinyfish have agreed to sign with Festival Music. David Robinson (owner of Festival Music, progrock.co.uk and F2 Music) approached us after watching our set at last year's Summer's End Festival in Bilston (UK). He loved what he heard and asked us if we would consider releasing our next record through his label. Considering that Festival has some of the best progressive bands in the UK at the moment on its roster (Solstice, Guy Manning, Credo, etc), we were only too happy to oblige. David is a the kind of label boss who genuinely loves the music he releases and we look forward to a productive relationship with him.'

"The new album will be engineered and mixed by It Bites/Frost/Arena/Kino guitarist John Mitchell and the band will be entering the studio in April with a view to releasing the record in late summer of 2008. The current track list is:

1. Rainland
2. Ride
3. The Sarcasm Never Stops
4. The Big Red Spark
5. I'm Not Crashing
6. Bad Weather Road
7. More Power Than Bombs
8. Wide Awake At Midnight

"Simon goes on to say 'The new album is a much more guitar orientated beast than its predecessor, it has two numbers over ten minutes and lots more sonic experimentation. We've managed to play a number of these songs live now and the reaction has been very positive, so be prepared for more disturbing monologues from Rob Ramsay and droplets of pure melodic bliss from the rest of the band.'

"Bittertown: And the good news doesn't stop there. Festival Music have also signed a brand new band called Bittertown, based in the Netherlands. Formed by Tom Janssen, the driving force behind the band, their music is powerful, emotional, and very catchy! Having listened to their demo over a year ago now, I found myself humming almost every tune for weeks!

"The debut CD by Bittertown will be a concept album called Scenes From The Box, with great guitar and keyboard solos, and powerful, emotive vocals by three vocalists taking on different roles within the compelling concept.

"The final release date is still to be confirmed, but is likely to be June 2008. As soon a we have a confirmed date, we will of course let you know the full details of the release.
