Meanwhile Dirk Serries will expand his Microphonics series with concerts at:

October 10th 2009 - live soundtrack to Martina Verhoeven's Momentum exhibition, Trac? (Ekeren, Belgium)

3 Seconds Of Air is a coming together of three musicians, a process that has been slowly building up its momentum since 2000. Finally appearing on the surface, this entity of three kindred spirits is an ode to the psychedelic music of the late sixties, early seventies. Armed with two electric guitars and one electric bass, routed through a set of tube amplifiers, 3 Seconds Of Air infuses their specific wall of sound with references to blues, ambient and avant-garde music.

All tracks were recorded during the weekend 7 and 8 February 2009 at the St Theobaldus Chapel, near Brecht (Belgium), using a laptop, Pro-tools and a Rode nt4 microphone. no overdubs, no editing.

The band's debut is a trinity of a four track compact disc, a two track vinyl compendium (featuring an exclusive 22 minute Bass Communion reconstruction), and a concert, and is set for solstice 2009.

The concert will take place at the Chapel, one on Saturday 20th of June at 9pm, and a reprise on Sunday 21st of June at 3pm. Please note that the conerts are about to sell out so please don't wait to long to book your tickets. Now available at www.3secondsofair.com.

Please check the 3 Seconds Of Air Myspace for music from the sessions from the CD and record.
