Biglietto Per L'Inferno, the hard-prog band, a cult in the '70s, is returning to a renewed and expanded formation for all lovers, this time, prog-folk.

Born at the beginning of 1970 in Lecco, the band underwent several seasons in the wake of the sensational Rock Festival, where absolute protagonists were also under an [ellepi?] which, like that of Le Orme, Banco or PFM, design new scenarios for Italian music [that is, recorded their debut -ed.], a work that contained songs such as "Confessione," "Una Strana Regina" or "Il Nevare," absolute masterpieces of their kind as well as hard-rock precursors like that in a decade would invade the stereo kids-boppers.

Resounding support in Italy, some tours abroad and then the sudden dissolution of the middle of the 70s following which the members took different paths and even decisions that marked a life: the charismatic singer Claudio Canali dedicated himself to monastic life in a hermitage in Tuscany.

More than thirty years later, here they find themselves and discover they have the same immutable will to experiment to unusual paths through the music but none of them has ever abandoned. The joy of being together in endless sessions and the opportunity to speak in a language that now marries the new prog folk with a more vintage leads them to realize the project Biglietto Per L'Inferno. Folk within which, besides the songs from the legendary first LP, are placed new and colorful original compositions of these eight wonderful musicians. [The album is entitled Tra L'Assurdo E La Ragione (or Between The Absurd And The Reason -ed.]

The formation contains part of the historic core of drummer Mauro Gnecchi, keyboardists Pilly Cossa, and Baffo Banfi, assisted by a large staff of high value musicians such as Henry Fagnoni on bass and guitar, and multi-instrumentalists Franco Giaffreda, Carlo Redi, Renata Tomasello, Ranieri "Ragno" Fumagalli, well as the young Mariolina Sala, which bears the burden and the honor of giving a voice to thrill to the words of Claudio Canali. And Claudio? After the drastic choice of monastic life as Brother Isaiah, this time could be memorable and her voice still interprets the texts that his intense soul has created. A true Biglietto ... Returned to all effects.

While waiting to see them on the stages, especially at theaters where their size is more complete, and the new CD first Tra L'Assurdo E La Ragione is also reprinting output recorded in high resolution in only 500 copies of the first LP of the Biglietto Per L'Inferno, a treat for fans. And it seems the journey has just begun.
