In Magna Carta news: K2 will hold a Black Garden CD release party on November 6 at 8pm at Singer's Pour House in Agoura Hills, CA. Special guests are Phideaux and Mars Hollow. Tickets are $12 at the door for this all ages show. (View a video of Black Garden live).
Dave Martone will open for Joe Satriani for a quartet of Canadian dates this coming January, as follows: Jan 4, Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Alberta; Jan 5, Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary, Alberta; Jan 6, Kelowna Community Theater, Kelowna, British Columbia; and Jan 7, Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Vancouver, British Columbia.
Oz Noy is at the Baked Potato tonight (10/9) and tomorrow night in Studio City, California, in his Oz Noy Twisted Blues Band configuration, featuring Steve Ferrone on drums, Neil Stubenhaus on bass and John Beasley on keys; on October 18 and 25 he'll be at The Bitter End in the Oz Noy Organ Trio configuration featuring Anton Fig on drums and Will Lee on bass.
And Tempest are at the Blue Lake Casino in Blue Lake, California tonight; at The Starry Plough in Berkeley, CA on October 15 (playing 9pm - 11pm), at Constable Jack's in Newcastle, CA on October 22; at Don Quixotes in Felton, cA on October 29; and at the Tucson Celtic Festival in Tucson, AZ on November 6 and 7.
Lastly, A Perfect Circle will perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live on October 27.
