It seems that in this day and age, the term "Progressive Rock" or "Art Rock" is no longer a dirty word. With the growth of internet publications, radio, and forums, it's quite obvious that appreciation for "Progressive Rock" or "Art Rock" is very much alive and kicking. There is a fan base which is interested in music that is complex and dynamic. The ability to sing well or play one's instrument well is no longer considered pretentious, but skilled. Progressive/Art Rock artists don't seek to rule the masses, they seek the open minded. Compromise is not an option, but enlightenment is.

And so, this leads us to NUANCE, A Prog/Art Rock Festival in Toronto. The first of its kind in at least 15 years, if not ever. Featuring true underground indie artists playing the music they love to people who love this style of music.
