Brazilian progressive power metal band Almah -- the side project of Angra members Edu Falaschi (vocals) and Felipe Andreoli (bass) -- entered Norcal Studio in São Paulo, Brazil on May 2 to begin recording its third album for a September release. 10 songs are being tracked for the effort, which was composed by the entire band and is described in a press release as "really heavy and up-to-date with less influences of typical melodic metal."

"This CD will affirm the identity of the band. It will be a style which I love and adore! I've been looking for this kind of satisfaction as a musician and as a person over the years," says Falaschi.

According to the bassist and co-producer of the material, Felipe Andreoli: "The last few days we stayed at my place finishing the composition and pre-production of the next CD of Almah. We've caught the energy and vibrations of our musical ideas and we've been able to transform them into real songs. So, now we can feel the real potential of every composition. All is going on in a very exciting way and I have no doubts that it will be the most well-done and mature album of Almah."
