Here are some extracts from Clive's sleevenotes - only a few: "The Sacrifice show was put together with the help of Alex Sanders and his wife Maxine" ? "Together Alex and the band worked to ensure that everything in the show was totally authentic"? "The BBC thought that promoting 'Black Magic' to the kids might not do their image much good and refused to play the album or single 'Come To The Sabbat' - the single tipped by the music press to go to No. 1 suffered through the BBC ban and although it entered the lower reaches of the charts it could not break into the top ten."

About Black Sabbath Clive says: ?"Public started to become confused between Black Widow and Black Sabbath" ? "Despite the rivalry between the two acts the members of both bands remained on good terms."

How this DVD release came about? "Having worked hard to keep the Black Widow name alive over the years, I tried for a long time to trace this recording. Nothing was forthcoming until I contacted Birte Zywko, International Sales Manager working for Beat Club. Birte told me a recording had been traced but it was in poor condition and that it would take a month to remaster it from the original tape. Birte promised to send me a copy and true to her word one month later it arrived" ? "Watching the show I was totally amazed. I could not even remember filming it."

Clive mentions he couldn?t remember filming it because he really thought they only performed the song "Sacrifice" but as Clive says: "Nervous but excited I put it into DVD player - this would be the first time I would ever see a recording of the band from all those years ago. To my surprise it started with the song 'In Ancient Days' - it was the complete show!"

Clive?s complete sleevenotes on this release are very long and exciting and he even gives his email address to fans promising "all messages to Clive Jones at smackmanagement (at) aol.com will be answered."

Right now Black Widow is returning with new songs for their comeback album, so the story continues. The band is hoping to enter the studio soon.
