Festival News: Nektar Announced For Rites Of Spring Festival 2009

RoSfest is pleased to announce the legendary Nektar as our first headliner for 2009. The band will play the headlining slot on Friday night, May 1st, 2009. This band, headed by founding members Roye Albrighton (guitars, vocals) and Ron Howdon (drums), features a half-English, half German lineup with members Klaus Henatsch (keys), and Peter Pichl (bass). The band has been around since the 1970s, releasing many classic progressive albums, and performing spectacular shows over the years. The band is actively touring Europe, and released a new album, Book Of Days in 2007. Look for the band to perform their new material, as well as tracks from their extensive back catalogue at RoSfest 2009.
