We Do Band Stuff in Association with KScope and InsideOut Music Proudly Present: An Evening With Tim Bowness & Henry Fool (featuring Colin Edwin) .... Performing Material by Henry Fool, No-Man, and Songs from the new Tim Bowness solo album Abandoned Dancehall Dreams

Tim Bowness and Henry Fool have announced two "An Evening With Tim Bowness and Henry Fool" concerts to take place this July, showcasing material by Henry Fool, No- Man and Tim's forthcoming InsideOut label album, Abandoned Dancehall Dreams.

Henry Fool have also formally announced that Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree, Ex-Wise Heads) has joined the band and will participate in all upcoming dates and recording sessions scheduled for this summer. In addition, Tim along with his Henry Fool co-founder Stephen Bennett continues to write material for a third HF album and the full band sessions will hopefully provide further new material.

On stage, Tim and Colin will be performing alongside current No-Man and Sanguine Hum members Andrew Booker, Mike Bearpark and Stephen Bennett, plus saxophonist/ flautist Myke Clifford from The Pink Floyd Dimension.

The concerts will take place at The Borderline in London on 11th July and at a CRS event in Maltby, Yorkshire on 12th July.

Special guests at both events will be K-Scope label band NoSound and Esoteric label artist Matt Stevens.

Colin Edwin is effusive about the shows and joining Henry Fool "I'm looking forward to making some noise in the (paradoxically) quixotic yet structured and simultaneously unconstrained environment of Henry Fool-dom."

Stephen Bennett had this to say about this flurry of Henry Fool activity: "These shows comes at an exciting time for the revived Henry Fool. Having Colin in the band allows the Fool to stretch musically – he and Andrew Booker create a tight and exciting rhythm section that works well with Myke Clifford’s sax and Mike Bearpark’s guitar."

Henry Fool are also due play the Eppyfest and Resonance festivals on 5 July and 2 August respectively, although Tim Bowness is unable to appear on those occasions due to other commitments.
