RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ - Formerly Clifton, NJ-based progressive rock power-trio and later quartet 3RDegree has reformed and on April 21, 2007 have been invited to play Metuchen NJ's NJ Proghouse with Frogg Cafe?. This is a very special one-off affair as guitarist Pat Kliesch of Los Angeles, CA is coming back to the Garden State for this show and an April 20, 2007 acoustic based (?unplugged?) house concert given by the band as well in north eastern NJ. Information for both shows can be found on the band's website which is web.mac.com/pashman/iWeb/3RDegree or welcome.to/3RDegree.

The band - perhaps known for it's two CDs, 1993's The World In Which We Live and 1996's Human Interest Story, its "Rush meets Soundgarden at Tears For Fears' house" sound and for its founder?s (Robert James) penchant for creating "prog-themed" concerts (1994-1996) in the NJ/NY area (which featured NJ prog bands Spiraling - formerly You Were Spiraling - featuring Tom Brislin of Yes and Camel fame, Braindance, Love & Death, Curious Works and PH101) and it's many shows at Rock N Roll Cafe (NYC) and elsewhere opening up for Rush tribute band Power Windows (featuring Happy The Man's Joe Bergamini) - is also back in the studio and has already laid down the main tracks for over 20 songs (2 separate CD releases) - some new and many old, unfinished songs that were never realized when the band broke up in 1997. A "teaser" CD entitled Sneak Peaks is now available and includes some preliminary versions of tracks from both of the upcoming CDs plus the band's never-heard take on Marillion's "At That Time Of The Night (The Short Straw)" recorded but not included on an internet-based tribute CD. One of the new full-length CDs is titled Narrow-Caster.
