Musea Records will release the following titles in May, some on their label, some distributions from other labels. The first of these in this round up is Ange - Moteur!: Musea has started the reissue of Ange's catalogue in new remastered versions presented in digisleeve format including a large booklet. Moteur! is the third release of this series. The sound has been improved, the digisleeve cover is the exact replica of the original vinyl cover, including a large booklet and the CD itself looks like a vinyl LP. A must for all Ange fans.

Albatros - Ursus: Albatros is a progressive and psychedelic rock band from Spain formed in 2000. They make the listener get the most suggestive atmospheres through an epic journey full of distortion, melody and poetry. Ursus, the brand new Albatros album, combines Pink Floyd and Rush [style] classic rock with Porcupine Tree [like] modern sound and a Spanish approach influenced by Triana. Albatros is flying high again. Would you like to go with them?

Pluto and the Planets - 360° Of Wonder: Pluto & The Planets is a Norwegian group based in Oslo. Started and lead by the guitar/keyboard player known as Pluto, a prog rock veteran (2 solo LPs and 1 CD release). The band emerged for the first time in the middle of the 80s as a guitar based prog rock band with strong influences from Genesis, Vangelis, Yes and Pink Floyd. The 2011 version of Pluto & The Planets follows its own musical tradition but with much more focus on vocal arrangements. The band consists of two guitar players, keyboards, drums and bass. A quite traditional line up but with two lead singers in addition to the rest of the band, who take care of backing vocals. Tomas "Kobdzey" Kaspar, a leading Czech prog rock drummer, joined the band while they were recording the album 360° Of Wonder at Sono recording studio in the Czech Republic. This was the start of a close collaboration between him and Pluto, the composer and arranger of most of the material on the CD. Guitars have been given a lot of room beside vocals in the music. With mixed influences from Jeff Beck, David Gilmour, Steve Hackett and Steve Howe, the result has become a typical Pluto and the Planets sound. By the way, the 360° Of Wonder album is a recording project, not a programming/editing project.

Gdeva - Kleti Quatro: Gdeva was established in 2005 as an improvisational trio for performing instrumental psychedelic music. The debut collection of improvisations Bubbles, Bubbles ... was recorded in 2005 and was released on the label RAIG in 2007. In 2008, a fourth member appeared in the band and the style of the music made an abrupt shift from diffuse to more clearly improvised structures. The musicians themselves call their style post-kraut-rock. The result of the updated membership of the band was creation of the album Kleti Quatro, which was recorded in autumn 2009. Currently, the band members are engaged in new projects, and Gdeva reincarnated in a one-man-project in the face of the guitarist and band leader Andrei Petrov.

noisiV - Phantom Wave: noisiV is a duo of independent artists born in Berlin in 1999. [The duo was formed in '99, not that the members were born in '99... -clarifications ed.] They enjoy exploring the possibilities within sound production and improvisation. They now evolved on the experimental stage with a non conventional musical style. noisiV uses sounds as fluid structures opening the possibilities to various personal impressions - both for themselves and their audience. While few systems invite personal interpretation and the direction is more often imposed by the creator, the objective of their work is to resist the authoritarian and all-embracing system. They sow the seeds of confusion and skepticism so that the simulation of freedom cannot work. They do not propose real solutions of resistance, but a ground from which each person can fuse their own references. Indeed they presuppose the desire of the listener to examine their interpretations and to extract from them their very own impressions.

Several new titles will be available from the Talking Elephant label, including: Ric Sanders - Still Waters; Horslips - Treasure - The Very Best Of, Aliens, and Dancehall Sweethearts; and Marc Ellington - Marc Time, A Question Of Roads, and Restoration

And from The Stranglers - In The Night, a various artists compilation Rock & Roll Train: A Millenium Tribute To AC/DC, Johnny Cash - The Man In Black - A Documentary DVD, Count Basie - Then As Now, Count's The King DVD, Duke Ellington - Reminiscing In Tempo DVD, KISS - Invasion, Interviews, and Meet The Press DVDs, John Abercrombie - Solos - The Jazz Sessions DVD, along with another in the series, James Blood Ulmer - Solos - The Jazz Sessions DVD.
