Eagle Rock has set an October 18 release date for the Blu-ray edition of Queensrÿche's Mindcrime At The Moore concert video.

Mindcrime At The Moore captures Queensrÿche's performance of both Operation: Mindcrime I and II in their entirety in front of a rabid hometown crowd at Seattle's Moore Theatre. The marathon show includes a full theatrical production complete with Surround Sound, video imagery, actors portraying the concept albums' characters onstage with the band, and a special appearance from the Seattle Seahawks drum line. Billboard has called the release a "real treat" and "a must for Rÿche and Rollers."

Mindcrime At The Moore features singer and chief songwriter Geoff Tate along with guitarists Michael Wilton and Mike Stone, bassist Eddie Jackson and drummer Scott Rockenfield performing all 32 Mindcrime tracks plus a two-song encore featuring their signature hits "Jet City Woman" and "Walk In The Shadows." The bonus features include a tour documentary, a featurette on the band's "Rock & Ride Across America" charity motorcycle ride for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, and a live performance of "The Chase" from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, featuring Ronnie James Dio's only public appearance as Dr. X.

Eagle Rock describes the release thusly: "Queensrÿche’s two Operation: Mindcrime albums (released in 1988 and 2006) tell the story of Nikki, a junkie, political revolutionary and assassin and his relationship with two key characters Sister Mary and the manipulative Dr X. Critically acclaimed and much loved by their fans the albums are two of the jewels in the crown of progressive metal. Following the release of Operation: Mindcrime II, Queensrÿche performed both albums in their entirety on tour in a mammoth stage production featuring actors, staging and films. Filmed on this tour in high definition at the Moore Theater in the band’s hometown of Seattle over three nights in October 2006, Mindcrime At The Moore is now released on Blu-ray for the first time and presents these legendary albums as they were meant to be seen and heard."
