Due on September 13 via Good Fight Music, the picture disc is available for pre-order now with an exclusive new t-shirt designed specifically for the pre-order bundle. A download card of Exoplanet will be included with each LP.

Speaking of Textures, the Dutch progressive technical metal band has announced two exclusive listening parties for its fourth album, Dualism, scheduled for release on September 23 in Europe, South America, Asia and Australia and September 27 in North America. The U.S. listening party will begin at 9 p.m. at Idle Hands Bar, located at 25 Avenue B (Downstairs) in New York City, on Wednesday, August 31, just two days before the band kicks off its first-ever North American tour with Periphery, The Human Abstract, and The Contortionist. The entire band will be in attendance to chat, sign autographs, and drink whiskey! On the other side of the world, Textures will have another listening party the very same day in Mumbai, India at the B69 venue starting at 9 p.m. The Mumbai listening party is organized in co-operation with Mixtape (India); the Indian band Scribe will perform live.

The Dualism CD can be pre-ordered from Nuclear Blast USA's webshop; pre-order bundles that include band t-shirts can be purchased from IndieMerch.com. All IndieMerch.com pre-order bundles will be automatically entered into a raffle to win a Textures Mayones guitar.

A second track, "Reaching Home," from their forthcoming album is available for worldwide streaming now on RevolverMag.com. Textures drummer Stef Broks shares some insight on the track: “The song is about finding a way back to innocence. The person speaking in the lyrics is struggling his way through life, passing by melancholic moments of looking back, clear moments of present time and hopeful moments of looking forward. Home is where this person's longing for; but does home lie in living, in only his thoughts, or in surrendering to passing away?”

Moreover [making this a very long news bit... it's supersized!], renowned Dutch shoemaker Floris van Bommel has launched an exclusive limited edition Textures sneaker. The shoe is limited to 75 pairs worldwide and is only available in limited amounts through the Textures webshop. [Source: Blabbermouth.net and Nuclear Blast]

"A long, long time ago we promised additional material for the ones who bought the digi pack version of At The Edge Of Time," writes Hansi Kürsch of Blind Guardian. "As usual, things take far longer than expected, but at the very end we keep our promise. This is just another perfect example. Enjoy our alternate mixing ideas for "Curse My Name" and "Wheel Of Time." One appears a little heavier, the other a little more "Riverdancish":-) Enjoy music, enjoy life."
