The debut concert of supergroup UKZ has been postponed to better coincide with their new album release schedule and to recognize the current labor disputes. The concert was originally scheduled for January 25, 2008.

"With the escalating?union strikes, Los Angeles is a precarious place to stage a major event right now," says group founder Eddie Jobson. "There is a ripple effect that impacts the whole community. Furthermore, the album is still a few months away from release and we decided it would be better if more people knew our music ahead of time. Both issues have factored into the decision."

The newly formed group features Eddie Jobson (UK, Roxy Music, Zappa) on keyboards, Trey Gunn (King Crimson) on Warr guitar, Alex Machacek on guitar, Marco Minnemann on drums and Aaron Lippert on vocals. The band members are currently writing and recording their self-titled debut album.
