It seems that it is a fashion that "Old Discipline" musicians sign to Inside Out. So after California Guitar Trio, here is the new release by Trey Gunn. Even if it isn't right to say that it is new because it's a compilation of songs taken from past albums.

Well, this record is a sort of a "best of" from the bassist (now ex-bassist) of King Crimson, and you can hear all the influences of the main group in the American player. He adds a lot of world music components to these wonderful references, making the sound particularly nice to listen to.

On this Untune The Sky, he can demonstrate how he is able to perform on the Warr Guitar perfectly, an instrument that he helped to build. It's sort of a ten string guitar, but with a piano like sound. The result is a little bit cold, I have to admit.

To conclude, it is a very good album that permits all music listeners to get to know the music of Trey Gunn. It also contains two remixed tracks and an previously unreleased one.
