Are you ready for over four hours of head bangin' no-holds-barred metal? I was not; in fact, I never made it through both discs because I went on overload.

Fire and Blood is a massive two DVD set featuring metal kings Manowar. After a few songs, they all start sounding the same. I became agitated with the false bravado and bullshit macho antics of this band, so that did not help my attitude. How many times do you need to say? ?This is real fucking metal?? I think they are just a bit over the top, but then again that is their act, they are giving the metal heads what they want. I think it is all of bunch delinquent foolishness, but then again I am no longer the beer guzzling 20-year old maniac that I once was either, so it is hard to appreciate now.

I do have to hand it to this band; they have a rabid following with some of the most faithful fans on earth, dedicated enough to have full Manowar body tattoos. I am sure fans of this band will be in their glory when they view this DVD set. Personally, this is just not my cup of tea and it never really was.

Do you want to get rowdy and blow the roof off? Put this stuff on, it will be all you need.
