There are very few bands that treat their fans the way the British band Marillion does. Maybe Dream Theater comes a close second, but the band-fan bond is probably the closest with Hogarth and Co. Those of you who bought a copy of the band's latest studio effort Marillion.com found a coupon enclosed entitling you to a bonus disc. With a slight delay the CD has finally found it's way to the various letterboxes scattered throughout the world.

Not only is this CD a full-CD, there's even a multimedia section to be found, whilst the audio part of the CD is in fact a sampler for the fanclub catalogue. First you'll find eight audio fragments: "The Answering Machine" and "Afraid Of Sunrise" come in semi-acoustic form from the album Unplugged At The Walls. "The Great Escape" can be found on The Making Of Brave. "The Space" comes out of Live In Caracas. Another version of "Afraid Of Sunlight" is also included, this time from Piston Broke. "Berlin" is taken from the Zodiac CD. And finally two exclusive tracks for this sampler by means of "The Bell In The Sea" plus an interview with the band.

As always everything has been beautifully arranged such as their own search engine for the multimedia segment where we can find the last two audio tracks with video, plus a live recording of "Deserve" from the latest studio album. Furthermore there is a biography, a diary, photos and information on all the fanclub releases. In other words: a must have!
