CD/DVD Releases: Three Quidam Titles To Be Reissued

In 1996 Quidam recorded and published their first album and quickly gained fan appreciation both in Poland and all over the world...

Ten years later, in 2006, special 2-CD (!) editions of the band's out-of-print and hard-to-find first three albums will be re-introduced.

But wait! That's not all!

These special editions will feature beautiful gatefold sleeve design reminiscent of the old LP covers!!!

A special remastered anniversary edition of Quidam's first album will feature an additional CD titled Rzeka Wspomnień (The River Of Memories). The band searched their vast archive and found several interesting compositions which were not previously released on any CD. Curiously enough, fans often asked about these compositions, either after concerts or in their emails to the band members.

That's where you will find two covers of "White Rider" and "Horizons," recorded during the band's first concert in Krakow's Pod Przewi?zka Club. That's where you will discover the only studio recording of Quidam's precursor Deep River in such compositions as "Szukaj&acedil;c Szcześcia" or "Rzeka Wspomnień" (the very last piece with Emila Derkowska, originally recorded furing the Pod Niebem Czas sessions and never released before).

Thanks to the kindness of Quidam's old friends, this anniversary CD also features works of such bands as Ogrodnicy, Talath Dirnen and Belgrad, which have been involved in close collaborations with various Quidam band members. Finally, the special edition comes complete with such lovable "flicks" as the "Warkocze" and "Beznogi Maly Ptak" videos and a concert version of "Sanktuarium" from Quidam's first international gig during the Day of Dreams Festival in Holland.

As far as Sny Aniot?w album is concerned, the choice for the additional (special edition) CD was quite obvious. We have picked the English langage version of the original albu, distributed earlier as a separate CD titled Angels' Dreams.

Baja Prog - Live In Mexico '99 re-edition is also promising to be interesting. Additional DVD (!!!) will reature complete video registration of such compositions as "Choćbym," "Rhayader/Rhayader Goes To Town," "Sanktuarium," and "Angels Of Mine," already well-known from the live CD, as well as previously unpublished "Pod Powiek&acedil;," "Nocne Widziadla," and "Bajkowy." And that's not all! The DVD will also feature two short coverages of the band's visit to the country of tequila and cacti.

Release date for these special edition CDs is September 4, 2006
