Touchstone, It Bites To Tour UK

Well, in posting the previous item, the announcement of Touchstone being added to RoSFest 2009's bill, we learned that the band will be touring with It Bites in September, hitting spots throughout the UK. Before that, the band will play at the Cambridge Rock Festival on July 20 on a 4-day bill that includes also Marillion, The Reasoning, and Mostly Autumn among a plethora of others. Touchstone's most recent release is Discordant Dreams, which was released late last year through the band's own Heavy Right Foot Records, though a new distribution deal has just been struck with Proper Music to distribute their music across the UK...



It Bites will ship their new album The Tall Ships on July 21 for pre-orders, which are being taken now for ?12.50 plus postage and packaging. And then full release in September. With the departure of bassist Dick Nolan, the band recorded the album without him; their touring line up includes newcomer Lee Pomeroy. Other live dates for It Bites include July 18 in at the De Boerderij, Zoetermeer, NL with Gazpacho; July 19 at the Loreley Festival in Germany; August 2 at the Whitehaven Recreation Ground, Cumbria, UK supporting Status Quo and August 30 at the Whitehaven Civic Hall, Cumbria, UK.
