Blind Ego - Numb (GBP 10.99, due April 3, 2009) -- Click here to pre-order: "New CD by the band put together by RPWL's guitarist Kalle Wallner and featuring an excellent band line-up including John Jowitt (IQ & Arena), John Mitchell (It Bites, Kino, Arena), Paul Wrightson (Arena). This release has melody, power (a slightly harder edge than their debut CD) and a great production, and comes highly recommended. We are also expecting the debut CD Mirror back in stock very soon."

Pure Reason Revolution - Amor Vincit Omnia (GBP 10.99 (CD); GBP 11.99 (CD+DVD), due March 9): "The music of Pure Reason Revolution incorporates elements of progressive rock and grunge rock with vocal harmonies. They have been variously described as 'Astral Folk' and 'New Prog'. Members have a shared appreciation for the work of bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and the Super Furry Animals. An exciting band!"

"And don't forget the 2 new releases from Festival Music - the home of Progressive Rock!"

Twelfth Night - Smiling At Grief - The Definitive Edition (double CD). Official release date: 23 March 2009; PRE-ORDER from progrock.co.uk for just GBP 10.99.

"Hear "Creepshow" from this CD at www.festival-music.co.uk.

"We are delighted to announce the release of this eagerly awaited double CD featuring the original cassette release / enhanced CD release coupled with a bonus disc of the band's own archive release Smiling At Grief Live (the only live recording known to exist of the four-piece line up). It also includes three previously unreleased tracks, including the original demo of 'Eleanor Rigby' and a very different early version of 'This City.' This reissue sees Smiling At Grief available again for the first time in 12 years, and comes with brand new artwork, sleeve notes and previously unseen photographs. It also heralds the start of the re-release of the entire Twelfth Night back catalogue, the next one being Live At The Target - The Definitive Edition.

Tinyfish - Curious Things. Official release date: 16 February 2009. Buy from progrock.co.uk for just GBP 6.99.

"Tinyfish have put together a mini album called Curious Things containing some rare tracks recorded before the release of their debut album. The music was recorded, produced and mixed by Jem Godfrey (Frost*), brother of Simon Godfrey of Tinyfish, at his old studio in Strawberry Hill (South West London). The release is limited to 1000 CDs, and includes some of the tracks that appear in the band's acoustic set. A great release!

"Tinyfish are currently working on their new studio CD Big Red Spark for release later this year. 'Mike Hunter (producer of Marillion's Happiness Is The Road) will be mixing and mastering our new album.' More news on this release soon!"
