Apeirophobia (the fear of infinity) is "a concept album about the conscience of Man about the end, not the fear of the death, but the fear of the infinity after death. But more precisely this album is about 'thought' and 'spirit': it's an evolution after ifsounds (if) previous work Morpho Nestira about consumerism ? we can say that Apeirophobia is about 'to be' while Morpho Nestira was about 'to own'."

About ifsounds: Formed in 1993 under the name ?if,? the band recorded and released The Cave [in] 2004 and if [in] 2005. The Stairway [followed in] 2006. [In] February 2007, 6 songs from The Stairway reached Top 10 on [the] "Progressive Rock? charts of iacmusic.com. "Close Your Eyes" reached #1. A cover of ?I Wish? by Scottish singer Raymond Porter reaches #1 on General charts of iacmusic.com after just 2 days from its release. ?Don?t Go? and ?It?s Just Me? were nominated for the Golden Kayak Award in ?Progressive Rock? category.
2008 - ?if?'s new album Morpho Nestira was released, and by early 2009 Morpho Nestira was gaining much notoriety among prog fans worldwide and very good reviews in many of the best prog webzines around the world.
September 2009 - ?if? changes its name to ?ifsounds? and sees a new line up. Elena Ricci (vocals), Franco Bussoli (bass guitar), Claudio Lapenna (piano and keyboards), Enzo Bellocchio (drums and percussions) and Dario Lastella (guitars).
September the 22nd 2009 - with a new line up in place ?ifsounds? releases the video ?Midsummer Raving? directed by Hox Vox.
February 2010 - the band donates the track "Oceans Of Time" for the charity compilation Songs For Haiti ? Relief Through Music (Melodic Revolution Records).
ifsounds release if?sounds a double CD as a free download. The release is the closing of one chapter the ?if? era and the beginning of a new chapter as ?ifsounds? is available as a free download on the bands official website - www.ifsounds.com.
