Hal Leonard Books has released a softcover edition of 108 Rock Star Guitars by photographer/author LIsa S. Johnson on November 11, 2014. This exquisite book, originally issued as an embossed, red leatherette-bound hardcover in a limited quantity that USA Today called "...a monster of a coffee table book..." will now be available to a much wider audience at amore affordable retail price of $54. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Les Paul Foundation.

Orange Amplification and Primus have teamed up to donate two customized Orange Dual Terror guitar amps to Little Kids Rock, a leading nonprofit provider of free musical instruments and teacher training to U.S. public schools. The two amps will be part of a sweepstakes to raise funds and awareness in support of music education in U.S. schools. They were specially made for Orange endorsee Larry 'Ler' LaLonde, guitarist in prog-rock band Primus, and have been signed by the entire band.

The Dutch radio show Xymphonia celebrates the milestone of 1000 editions on Sunday June 17, 2012. Running for twenty years, this weekly radio show, broadcast on local public radio station Omroep Almelo, has become one of the consistent elements within the progressive rock scene. Not keen to let this milestone pass unacknowledged, the team behind the show have secured an exclusive gig this summer by the legendary British band The Enid who will be giving a concert that evening in Theater Hof 88 in Almelo. A splendid opportunity to see this wonderfull band in a small, 160 seats, theatre for free.
