Total Time: 00:00:00It took in excess of a minute before any intelligent life forms presented themselves. I was convinced this was some arbitrary isle off in some remote nexus. Then, in a flash this Tangerine Dream imploded. While it remained instrumental, the guitars and keyboards entered The Doors of a cosmic gateway, absent Jim Morrison. It was also stowed with The Rolling Stones minus the weight of Mick Jagger's lips.
This could certainly provide the score to Douglas Adams' prose or be the litany to an IMAX experience. Using this guide, we can thumb a lift throughout the entire galaxy. Likewise, if the logical units were available as an implant, Flash Gordon or Buck Rogers could be upgraded to the next generation of sci-fi flicks.
It's Dark Star Orchestra or The Grateful Dead without any verbal communication. Instead, they resort to those universal languages that consist of sound and mathematics. In these close encounters, they commune with bar chords, quarter notes, and a pocketful of quasars.
Even though this collection goes on for over two hours, there is no need to transcribe each entry in the star log. That's not a slam against the album. It's just that these are jams with synthesizers and space effects. There isn't a speck of lyrics hurtling through the busy traffic of this space-time continuum. For that reason, what more can an author extrapolate from this colorful matter.
While "Cirkus Yoda" might be separated into polar opposite halves, or the size may differ significantly between "Pink Jumps In The Ring" and "Jupiter Flyby," the differences in the long-run are inconsequential.
As Einstein would say, it's all relative, so no need to break it down any further. Get onboard the Oresund Space Collective. Resistance is futile!
[But an addendum is not superfluous; in-demand artist of the moment Ed Unitsky created the cosmic artwork that appears on the cover above for the limited edition version (only 1000 copies) that comes in a DVD-sized case. -ed. (but not that Ed)]
